I like to tell everyone he’s a full pit but I honestly don’t know if he’s a full pit or mixed with something else. I absolutely fell in love with this face as soon as Natalie posted his pic on Furever Rescue’s Facebook page. Within the first three days of fostering Apollo I knew I was falling in love!
I’m pretty sure it was the third night together, when I couldn’t bare to ask him to get off my bed and go into his crate to sleep, that I decided I wanted to keep him. He is such a smart boy! He already knew "sit", "stay", "come" and "crate" when I got him and I’ve added on "spin" and "paw". We’re still working on other things and soon I’ll get him signed up for training.
Natalie helped me so much in the first few weeks and I still reach out to her with questions about being a mother. Thank you Natalie and Furever Rescue for changing my life with this little angel. I’ll gladly stay in on any Friday or Saturday night just to be able to wake up early and take this little angel to the dog beach or dog park and watch him run around and play.
Ah. I can’t imagine ever going back to a life without Apollo ♥
